Boîte / Box

Graphics
It’s Cell Shading, but graphisme are so funny… the screenshot below is of the japanese version, but the character’s “heads” are nice and attracting.
Grade: 9 / 10

Music
Well, the music and sounds are adding to the fun. You really get the feeling you are in the middle of a strange animation movie. A mix between the “film noir” and Jerry Lewis.
Grade: 8 / 10

Gameplay
Easy as possible. To touch / speak / see a thing / … it is enough to touch it on the lower screen. The upper screen adds information, comments, etc. To use an item, one “clic”, then touch the personn or other item on which you want to use the first. As for the enquiry system, it is a very evoluted system of the point & clic of some years before.
Grade: 9 / 10

Length / Sidequests
There are four enquiry, plus the “Touch List” to complete, plus additionnal mini quests. Which is eventually rather short. Even if it is nice. It is almost short enough to begin anew and try to solve (and touch) everything.
Grade: 7 / 10

Story / characters
The main character is a young lady wearing a gown with laces, a hat, and who drinks tea everyday at four. Between the detective helper who is a living and footed mushroom, and the majordom who is sometime scary, it is realy delirious, and very funny. The story is originally constructed, there is no big plot line, but everything revolves around the detective and her friends.
Grade: 9 / 10
Personnages / Characters

In the end…
If you can get it as second hand, jump on it. But at full price, it is a bit expensive for the length. Still to classify as good game.
Final grade: 8.4 / 10

Flattr this!
