Roger Zelazny

There are so many books / texts of him that I am only going to give a few titles I have read…

Nine Princes in Amber: (Nine Princes in Amber – The Guns of Avalon – The Sign of the Unicorn – The Hand of Oberon – The Courts of Chaos – Trumps of Doom – Blood of Amber – Sign of Chaos – Knight of Shadows – Prince of Chaos, a short novel: The Salesman’s Tale) the story begins in an hospital, with an amnesic hero, half stunned by the drugs, and who absolutely wants to know who he is, why he is here, etc. But Corey will have to piece together the last months, while he seems caught in power struggles that, for now, are above his reach. And the first thing is to find out what / who Amber is, and to realise that the Earth we know is but a shadow amongst shadows.

The Last Defender of Camelot, The Doors of His Face, the Lamps of His Mouth: And Other Stories: Novels. All are SF or med-fan, with sentimental robots, very human extra-terrestrians, …

Lord of Light: The main character is… a god. Well, yes. A god amongst others, and… a god that lives with humans, even if he is incognito, he is not powerless… and, since the colonisation of a planet ressembles a lot to the hindish mythology…
