Third visit to the hospital in two and a half week. But this time not for an injury.
Saturday, Matthieu having a fever, I called the children casualty dept., where I was told to go get two medicines a bit stronger than what I had, and to alternate them (so one every four hours), to keep him calm, not to dress him more than underwear, and especially not to cover him (no duvet, no blanket). It looked like he was getting better, but this morning, 39.8 °C when he woke up made us call the hospital again, and we were asked to bring him for a control.
So on we went to the cantonal hospital. After his injury near the eye and the one in the mouth, we knew how it would be. So we took precautions: meals for Matt’, some clothing and nappies for him too, a book for me, the DS with Leyton for Ol, drinks for Ol and I, and here we are… On midday, we ate at the cafeteria (“cornettes du chalet” and salad), and then we had to wait for Matt to pee for some last analyses.
Verdict: nothing major, only a cold /virus, and the fever already disminished. So Matthieu was allowed to play with his firemen lorry (poor firemen) !
