Olivier and (Matthieu and) me tested the online shop of la Migros to make a big order…
So, here is our (brief) opinion:
Positive points
- Delivred in cardboard boxes or Migros paper bags, except for fresh things, delivered in isothermal bag with a deposit
- Delivered at very acceptable hours
- For long time conservation products, it is convenient to order a lot and store somewhere at home
- No need to carry or use a car
- A large choice of products, from things to eat to cleaning products including M-Budget !
- Mcumulus is available
Negative points
- Not all the products we usually buy
- Frozen food is delivered separately and by another firm, so no M-budget frozen food
- Special offers available in shops are not all reflected online…
- The search system requires to think carefully of the words you use…
- To get a delivery price reduction, you have to reach a certain level (200 CHF to really see a difference), so like a supply trip we only do once a month or every few months at most…
- Impossible to choose quantities for, as example, the gruyère: it is “between 200 and 500 gr.”…
That is all. We think it is not bad at all, but knowing that going to Pérolles or St-Pierre is not far with the bus, it is not something we are going to use very often…
