It seems I only have time to play when I am ill 😉 So, I found Legend of Heroes II, Prophecy Of The Moonlight Witch and tried it.

[Test Legend of Heroes I]

Legend of Heroes 2

After getting used to it by the first, its graphic style is not a problem. Although small (because of the screen the screen), everything is finely detailed in a style halfway between belgian comics and manga. As always, there are superb light effects, ambiances, and some cute animals here and there
Legend of Heroes 2
Grade: 9 / 10

Again, a game for handheld console where it is worth getting the ear-phones and to listen to the music. The effects of lights are helped by sound effects (the wind, the sea…) for a very pretty effect. One almost starts when suddenly the brass band begins to play the combat theme!
Grade: 9 / 10

It is an “old school” rpg, so no problem even for ambisenestrous like me, choices are made through a menu. The combat system is even almost in “tactical-rpg” style. But nothing complicated at all.
Legend of Heroes 2 Battle
Grade: 8 / 10

Length / Sidequests
The length is reasonable (for a PSP game), no real side quest (except the pet to keep happy to get items…).
Grade: 7 / 10

Story / characters
Not really very original, two friends undertake a pilgrimage and end up saving the world. It functions rather well. The story is set around 60 years after Legend of Heroes I. The two main heroes, Jurio and Chris, are childhood friends.
Grade: 7 / 10

In the end…
If you liked the 1, or are looking for a cute light rpg, and especially if you find a bargain version, go for it. But it is certainly not a compulsory buy.
Final grade: 8 / 10
