A nice T-RPG for the Wii, and the one playing is Olivier… Transcription of his advice (except for the parts in between [])

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

Cute, detailed, with a well rendered background and nice, original and different “small guys” [understand playable characters]. Not extremely evoluted as such, but for that kind of game, it is absolutely sufficient.
Grade: 8.5 / 10
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, combat

Really very nice. It is music for a big orchestra, and corresponds well to the different situations. It may be sometimes a bit repetitive.
Grade: 8.5 / 10

It took me a while to get used to it, the wiimote is held horizontally, and the b button (the trigger underneath) and another button for several things… it is … special. For the game system itself, it is very easy: moving with the cross button, validate with the 2, choose (if necessary) an action in the menu in the same way, and that is all. The information on what will happen are displayed, you can cancel and choose another action just as easily.
Grade: 8.5 / 10

Length / Sidequests
I do not know for the length, but I have been playing for a while, and not yet finished first part, apparently (the one with tutorials). And as you can save easily, it is tempting to try again when the battle result is not very good… As for side quests, I have not seen any, except if you consider that getting and keeping all characters is one?
Grade: 8.5 / 10

Story / characters
Well, it is classical enough, an heroine with “divine” powers who is trying to save the world of the dictatorship from one country. But there are very funny passages, like Meg and a warrior discussing, and she says she is his fiancée, or between the hero, Sothe, and one of his completely mad comrade, Tormod.
Grade: 8.5 / 10

In the end…
Well, it seems a bit expensive for a game like that, not using the wii in its full potentital, but that is still all right. If you want a less “active” game and / or a tactical one, it is the game you should buy.
Final grade: 8.5 / 10
